Yup, put loads of weight on last year, went straight on my back and butt.
I'm just thrilled I can stand up again without wanting to cry.

It’s a ridiculous amount of money and I would want to fight it, but I have to ask, why has it got to that point, surely they have either spoken or written to you before the fine came through the door? Usually schools are quite helpful in these situations.
Can you challenge it with evidence from your GP that she has sought help for it, and has she been referred to a Paediatrician?
I hope she’s got a piggy bank
