As I think I’ve mentioned before, I don’t really ‘do’ Christmas; as a general rule of thumb, jewish people don’t. There’s Chanukah, but even then, that’s genuinely mainly for the kids. And no, before you ask, Chanukah isn’t ‘the jewish christmas’. Heh. It really isn’t.
I got some small presents, from friends who insist on buying me something, but nothing major. Which is just how I like it. (I always tell friends - who plan on buying me stuff - that I appreciate the thought, genuinely, but to take whatever they’re planning on spending, and spend it on their kids/nephews/nieces etc.)
So I got a couple of books and some slate coasters.
