Going from this discussion;
Privacy settings? we're keen to know what your thoughts are about being able to go into incognito?
We've always maintained that as long as the site is well run and moderated, we see no real reason to justify allowing it full stop.
Members can still amend their privacy and who can PM you and who can write on your profile etc.
But what about this option of being able to view others without having an alert sent?

From my point of view I think it should remain as is .... it’s good to know who’s viewing you .... I don’t put any restrictions on anything anyone can view everything if they so wish ....

No I don't believe it's a good idea unless it's applied to everyone. If necessay and someone kept viewing my profile but not intereacting then I have the option to message them and try to start a chat with them as there may be some interest or, as a last resort, to block them.

No I don't think this is a good idea at all, it allows people to lurk in the background and not be "social" !! Tbh I'm still not in favour of those who still have restricted accounts, they can see us but we can't see them, slightly infuriating!!!! (P)

I know new accounts can't select that option anymore, but I do recall one account a few weeks ago (the name escapes me!) Who viewed us but had a restricted account, it got a bit of a joke after the 3rd viewing!! Lol

Hmm interesting. All other accounts who had this option, we'd actually overridden as announced;
Options To Restrict Profiles
If you remember their names though please do by all means let us know.

Tbh im not a massive fan of blocking people unless there's a real need to, the fact that they had amazingly great taste in which account to perv at, I took as a compliment !!!! Lmao

FWIW by the way, I agree that it's something we should never have as an option on here. There's quite simply, no need for it.

I think we should remain as we are , I wouldn't like a privacy option

When I joined I'd never been on a site where it was so transparent and I was hesitant intially as I did t know what to expect

However now I see exactly why and understand why and fully support

TBH even as folks that have been kicking around the swinging sites for years we would not join a site and stick our mug shots on right off no matter who told us it was ok - These things take time and lets be honest its only cos we trust you guys to keep us safe that we do it and that will shine through to other folks that come here.

I can understand newbies feeling unsure if they have experienced issues or difficulties in sites that are not moderated or moderated as well ours

Some people will come to the site with no experienced and just be unsure

But rest assured the open nature of profiles is a positive thing .....some people will return the view and others won't

I'm often asked what should people put in their profile when they join , I usually send them to @Miss-Sexy-Legs and
I've often encourage folk to read lots of profiles even in those you may not be interested in meeting as if gives you idea of what's people want to see and don't

I don't think anything should change and we would find it a bit creepy thinking someone was viewing continuously without our knowledge.

Keep it as is. I agree the thought of someone viewing your profile without you knowing is not nice, I want to know who is looking, and generally that leads to a message, a chat and then the rest works perfect! S xx

I prefer stealth mode, i rarely look at profiles on here because don't want people thinking in stalking.

Surely the whole aspect of this site is to interact and get to know people - which is why the site exists in the first place.
We're not like other sites where you do have idiots and stalkers.
I recall when another site didn't have this option and wonder how people managed then?
Fact is, it's not needed nor essential on here as it's a managed site - other sites don't even come close to us in regards to safety, security and good, structured management.
