Honestly, nobody would think you are being weird because you look at their profile, a profile is there to be looked at after all. That's the purpose of it

Surely the whole aspect of this site is to interact and get to know people - which is why the site exists in the first place.
We're not like other sites where you do have idiots and stalkers.
I recall when another site didn't have this option and wonder how people managed then?
Fact is, it's not needed nor essential on here as it's a managed site - other sites don't even come close to us in regards to safety, security and good, structured management.

Totally get that, I just like to interact a different way. That's why I shouldn't be here.

This is a small site and when people join the name kind of gives it away what they are to expect, something I have never understood and this comes mainly from females is they go into ghost mode but can view every bugger without them knowing??
Other sites have this facility and too right they should as the moderation isn't there, the security isn't there, so basically you have to gamble with fakes, time wasters and freaks that as soon as you view you get sent a message and probably some wonderful art work to go with it.
I would say it comes down to class and what you would prefer
