Long story short-ish: WAY before I entered the scene, I had a job as a financial controller. Our email at work went down, and the advice was to set up a temporary email account for urgent stuff. I set up a financial controller one, hence fincon.
As it turned out, email almost immediately came back online… and then, when I entered the scene, I remembered I had this entirely anonymous email account available.
