I've been seeing a lot of images of rope play on twitter. it sends shivers down my spine. (In a good way.) I want to learn more about it and how to do it safely. What kind of rope is good? What are good positions for binding? I want to make sure I'm safe if and when I try it.
Try your local munch or maybe somewhere like Townhouse where they run some rope events for newbies and the experienced.
Always happy to help, feel free to message me @Orange-on-blue the best advice I can give is start off by practicing knots and how to untie them easily, use the leg of a table or chair with any rope you have or get a basic bondage kit, there is plenty out there and not too expensive either. X
Yeah I'm not the best but not the worse either, look up shibari (Japanese rope bondage) and take your time and enjoy learning learning. ohhh and always have some safety shears on head the type paramedics carry are ideal. (That reminds me I need some new shears myself)
I've been a rope bunny a couple of times, it's something else. The rope gliding across your skin, being pulled tighter, the gentle touch of the rigger. Sends me so chilled and relaxed. The two knotty boys are good, they have books and loads of you tube tutorials x
good idea, I like meditating and being a rope bunny gets you in a similar space, although it's different from sub space, if you get me?
Think so, I have been a rope bottom once or twice (excluding self ties but that's different) never really subbed though.
I have a good mentor on there. she has been practising as a domme for several years. I'm going to ask her and sub for advice as we've started playing together. The meditative state is interesting. I often experience a loss of control when being restricted. like I'm not me any more. I've been feeling a big desire to try rope play for a while now.
Try being roped up in a local park and left for say twenty minutes. Perhaps a far away little used setting at first then build up to more public areas. The buzz is fantastic, best if your blindfolded. People are ok mostly and interested in what it's all about and the time goes on for ages . Twenty minutes feels like twenty hours
