Sapiosexual - A person who is sexually attracted to intelligence before appearance.

Going off the back of the "there, they're and their" chat, is anyone else turned on by an engaging conversation?

I enjoy having intelligent conversation, and being able to discuss things above our personal scope (philosophy, the universe etc) is an absolute turn on.

Anyone else, or just me?

Why would it be just you?
You already know my personal thoughts on this, well after almost 3 years you should anyway
But yes. Intellect, great conversation, understanding of purpose etc does work for me too.
Yes well, as well as being a hottie of course too. x

Well as this topic has come up - so to speak and actually really made me face facts about myself - when filling in the information page to give people an idea about us - can I actually be brutally honest and put “thick as two short planks, need not contact”

Very definitely not just you.

Every woman I’ve ever had something even approaching a relationship with, short term or longer term back in the day, has had intellectual curiosity, and always wanted to know… more. I never had a particular preference as to what they wanted to know more about… if it was something I knew about, then cool, something we shared, but it was the ‘I want to know more’ attitude that I always found attractive, not the subject matter.

All of that said… no one’s ever seen a complete stranger across a crowded room and thought “god, that person’s brain excites me…“. Basically: looks might get me interested in a person for the first 30 seconds, but it’s everything apart from looks that keeps me interested beyond the first 30 seconds.

Well no. But it’s still, to a point, at least I think, a mentally drawn attraction. Whether sexual or simply to know more through intrigue. *shrugs*
