Have to agree with you on this Eli Roth and Tarantino make goood films xI don't care for ghostly horror but real life horror...
The Hostel ranks as the top for me. Eli Roth (Tarantino's creative partner) made a horror/thriller masterpiece (based on a true story) with that.
Watched the new-ish poltergeist last night again. HRH was scared shitless, I was finding so much of it funny I had to turn away.
I mean, come on, when was the last time you really watched something that scared you/stroked that fear factor?

I think Hacksaw Ridge made me freak a little, but that's not a horror film and that was for various reasons.
