Swinger parents

Hi all

Hubby and I have just had our first bubba who is now almost 7 months old. Unsurprisingly we’re both knackered and our sex life is pretty non existent at the moment!

I know that there are a number of you with kids, so I wondered how did you cope when you had little ones and manage to keep your sex life alive? Also wonder how you manage to have any swinging fun?

Any advice would be great!

We started in this scene many years ago before our youngest was born. Tbh it’s tough with small ones but we as a couple have always made time for us and every week we have a night just for us. We also holiday and spend weekends away without the children but now we are lucky that ours are mostly all grown up.

Tbh, our sex life died a death until our youngest was about 4. I fell pregnant again when our son was 8 months old so we had 2 babys . For lots of different reasons, mainly due to the type of contraception i was on, we struggled with our sex life.
Once the kids got bigger and things got easier and i had the implant removed our sex life picked up alot
As for swinging with kids, its hard to arrange things at the drop of a hat but with a bit of planning it can be done x

Going to xtasia on saturday and meeting people from the site was one of the best things we have done so far, however it did take us 4 weeks planning to get everything in place.
My personal advice would be to attend one of the socials the site arrange and get to meet people its lots and lots of fun xxx Lou

And I of course wouldn’t change her for the world, but I’m sure her and the dog work together as coitus interrupters!!

Thanks! I’m rubbish at having time for just myself, let alone us! But we will definitely try to ensure we do have evenings to ourselves!

Well done for managing with 2 young babies! We do talk about if/when we want another one, but we actually need to get near each other for that lol.

Most folks sex life hit a Rocky patch in fairness after a baby

I was late doing the whole baby thing for many reasons
Now what I would say is I was opposite of pearls and mine never left my side for an overnight left alone weekend for 9-10 yrs

WRONG..my advice is take Pearls ... I know have a wee one who struggles when I'm not around especially over night

As for meeting well like what lovely Lou said it needs plans as much as I'd love to be spontaneous to jump and go I can't ... wait till they are older and socials or meets clash with big dance events or the summer feckin holidays start

Enjoy every moment they grow up tooooo quick but don't loose yourself and your relationship

Don't do two under 14months lol ... actually when they were babies it was easier

Our youngest is now 4 1/2 and its only about 6 months ago we decided the time was right to start swinging again. Like others have said it takes some planning to arrange a meet. These days it's not babies that's killing our sex life its dans work lol x
