Ok I have done this thread to see if most of you still understand a swinging lifestyle? Lifestyle being the key word.
Swinging has evolved over the years from "Couple Swap" or "wife Swap"... The pampas grass in the front garden and wearing your wedding ring on the opposite hand to show who you are in what was a very secret society.

We are now an open lifestyle with many confusing "Swinging" to a porn lifestyle and confusion in sites being tarred as sex sites,

This lifestyle is built on respect and fun, meeting friends for life and we have met many, etiquette in this scene is paramount, as a couple did you know that if you wish to speak to either party you should ask permission off the other?
Many do not know this.

Someone said to me recently, "How do we change people " Well by educating and showing what swinging is all about and that it is an amazing lifestyle to be in.

There are now more single guys wanting to know more than ever before and when it comes to swinging, they don't know what it is.. This is from personal experience,only some do.

I have said this many times and we are lucky to have men here who are amazing and want to learn.

I shall give an example..
A gent joined and within 5mins had messaged me saying where you from and do you want to meet?

My first reaction was get rid, I didn't and started chatting, I found out that he had no clue what swinging is and that he thought it was just a place to get sex, with in an hour he had filled in his profile and put up some lovely photos, I then proceeded to explain about swinging and by the time we finished he had learnt a great deal.
We still chat and he now understands respect and how to make friends before anything else.

Sending a message of dicks and saying do you want to meet is not the way, vulgar talk in an opening message is uncalled for.

Education is key and once some men realise ladies prefer a brain before an erection or vile cum shot in your face, you will start to realise this scene is fun and not about porn or being on a sex site.

I have become sometimes Mama Pearls here and if I can help this new generation in understanding swinging then this scene will go on for all to enjoy.

This site has been created with this in mind and we want everyone to learn and enjoy swinging for what it is, so get those keys out and throw them in the hat and you will get a nice suprise.

Anybody who feels that they do need to know more and would like any help with profiles or information about swinging then there is plenty of help here, Im always here to give advice and there are plenty of information in the forums.

Very good and I'm learning all the time. What I appear to have found is a community of very nice people who share a certain alternative lifestyle and who aren't shy in discussing it. I'm also learning about the swinging lifestyle and while I haven't yet indulged, I think getting to know people as people is that first step. I'm loving it here and I'm having fun. I'm always, like in my job willing to try new things and experiment and that goes for all things whether it be food, technology etc.... or sex.

This is a very well constructed post. It was something we'd been discussing for some time and let's face it, some people - not all but definitely some, have lost complete sight of what swinging is.

It's not online porn, online sex, going into chat rooms to watch someone wank (yes that goes on 99% of the time elsewhere)
It's not a sex site in the ways of adult work, it's not plenty of fish...

Swinging constitutionally and primarily was based on 'wife swapping' - married couples swapping partners.
Over the years it has developed into swingles being allowed within this circle - swinging singletons...

This is not a case of a single male meeting a single female either. That's a one night stand, not technically swinging.
Now I'm not saying the two cannot meet, but technically is it swinging?
When you have a single male and a single female regularly meeting, is it then swinging but with the addition of saying you have a FB?

The ethos has slowly been tarnished and distorted by sites like our dear friends over there..
Because they've allowed it to become this.

I know from first hand experience that chats and discussions have taken place and where members, as @Pearls rightly pointed out - joined, 'seeking sex' and had NO IDEA what swinging was....
Hopefully as time goes by, we will be able to restore it for what it once was, and undo the damage done to the swinging world by other sites.

In the meantime for those of us who deal with this more than others, it's a matter of having fun but also educating others along the way.
Especially the ones who join seeking sex and who have no conception of what swinging is...

When we first started out, we knew nothing about swinging, we were just horny, and looking to complete some fantasies we had.
We very quickly realised that it was quite a complex journey we had embarked on, but the thing that really hooked us in was the friendships we made.
Soon, making friends became a big part of how we swing, after all, being intimate with total strangers, whilst fun in the short term, can sometimes leave you feeling a little "cold" afterwards. In the north there was also a window sill plant that meant the same thing, but I can't remember what it was. It may have just been a trend in the York area in the 1980's though suppose.

i have taken cuttings and plan to give them out at the VA. I had to its a virtual jungle out there cant get out the door.. bloody fluffy things... along with of course my personalised tash trays...
Reminds me the neon sign.. needs batteries..
the biggg red neon arrow.. swingers live here.. we can take you to heaven is fading.
The Yo babyy doorbell is a little sluggish also.. is more like a yyyyyooò baaaaaby sound.. god we need an up grade.. gold statues still revolving well though..
It needs a freind i did see a flashing statue on flea.. bay it moves and everything unsure is the doggie motion is a little crass hmmm
i shall have a think.. neighbours dont speak anymore. Im wondering if they suspect? Nahhhhhh....
