I really can't make my mind up on this subject. On one hand we have people, rightly, highlighting the sexual exploitation of females and the cut throat competition within the glamour business. Then there is the fact these girls hopefully enjoy what they do and can earn a decent, although short lived, wage.

The PDC have taken this decision, after talks with broadcasters. There's a lot of talk in the press about 'the PC brigade' but I can't see any evidence that any pressure from women's rights groups, loony lefties, snowflakes or millenials has affected this decision. It's some people with clipboards deciding that, actually, scantily-clad women don't really need to walk on stage with a darts player. It is all a bit outdated, to be fair.

Ok so here is my view and sorry if it upsets anyone :D
So from a young age I knew I wanted to be a model, I was never the bright spark and left school with no qualifications so having the body and face I was given I knew that was what I could use to get work. It's a tough industry with huge competition but very rewarding. When I was picked to model for YSL it was hardly the selection process that you would see today, just a man pointing out women from a department store (literally her, her pointing his finger at who ever he thought would be suitable) the two ladies selected were myself and a more mature woman. Were we paraded in front of men like objects? No. Was it a very glamorous experience? Yes
What ever happened to this country where we could have big boobs on post cards, kiss me quick hats, page three. Walk on girls are no different, would I have done it? Hell yes and enjoyed every moment.
Men can moan about walk on girls and exploitation but do they down load porn? Do they go to brothels? Probably.
These women, same as me have made a choice, not forced, a choice to use something they have been given naturally. Use it I say. Society is changing and not for the better.(y)

So we have had walk on girls for how many years and now the feminist have decided it's unfair and exploiting the girls. On all the occasions i have seen walk on girls at various sporting events I have not seen one of them look or express in body language that they are being exploited and forced to do it, in fact to me they seem to enjoy it. So ask the girls see what they have to say and if they are happy then leave well alone they are not harming anyone or being harmed in any way.

If it pays the bills let them get on with it. It's a job but as usual when things change people get upset but that's life. Personally I don't mind the walk on girls but neither can I see the relevance. Actually I find it quite funny that you have these beautiful ladies then they cut to some beer swilling darts players or hairy arsed mechanics.

Put more young ladies onto the dole
Some of the sports you could say maybe push the limits (F1 with the girls all done up in body hugging lycra)
But then when the have the races in the middle east the girls wear more like a suit like the air hostesses
next it will be a ban on young ladies carrying the medals at the Olympics dressed in their countries traditional outfits
And what about the ladies in the Cardiff Bierkeller in their uniforms

Yes and - I think - that's why the decision has been taken tbh. It's all a bit.... dated.

I think the acid test on 'walk on girl's is what reaction you'd get if you had 'walk on boys'?
Yes I think an out-dated idea. Exploited hmmm maybe not, if in skimpy bikinis yes, but national costume for each country??? As usual though they've stopped this as it treated the girls as objects, but didn't ask the girls ther opinion first.....

I quite enjoy watching the walk on girls during a boxing match, probably because I'm always waiting for one of them to get their heel caught on the ropes and have to be rescued off the floor on top of their boards by the fit security guys in uniform :rofl::rofl:

I have no problem with them, if a girl wants to strut about in next to nothing its her decision. No one is forcing her to do it ( I believe)
Why should they get there job taken away from them because someone who doesnt know them thinks its for there best interest.

I have no problems with men strutting around in next to nothing.

We keep being told to be proud of our bodies, why not show them off
