Web cam modelling/host??

Iv been debating for a while now whether to sign up to become a web cam model. I just need some thoughts and some good advice on this issue? I for one know that you can never be to careful & trust is the biggest issue for me. I am wise enough to never give out personal information and am very discrete. However the biggest issue for me is knowing how safe it is? I work long hours at present which includes shift work as some of you know & i love my job but it would be nice to cut back my hours if i could earn another kind income from home, whereby i can spend more time with my kids and do the web cam modelling on my days of or when the kids are in bed??

Life is a compromise and on the face of it being paid to be naked and sexual in the comfort of your own home with strangers around the world via the internet seems to offer some advantages in improving the quality of your work life balance and most importantly, more time with your children. There is a possible downside, past your fear of people finding out who you are. Money has the ability to subvert and compromise ones sex life. I'm not being moralistic, or in anyway judgmental here. Web cam modeling is probably the thinest end of the paid for sex business. Its possible to be in that business and feel great about it and have a good life.... it is also possible to get sucked further in, to places that at the moment you could never imagine going. You seem like a strong woman who will be capable of maintaining your independence and sense of self worth. If this is the case, you will probably have little to fear from this job, you may even find it great fun... just be aware that there can be some internal downsides to this work in how you feel and how others see you. It all comes down to how you personally see it and think about it. Good luck with your decision.... I wish you well whatever you chose to do.

Great reply @Troy9 and some interesting points made, you are right with being sucked in and most have a greed for more and wind up on a slippery road but I know Fox and believe she is strong and think she will make the right choices, brilliant reply and advice xxx

That is probably the most constructive thing I have read about this.
Miss Fox is a personal friend of ours and of course, as friends, we worry. But it's also deeply refreshing to see someone else, actually put the cards on the table per-se and say; 'Look you may end up better off indeed, BUT!...' as this is what I think needs to be highlighted.

Thankyou for your reply, your honesty is appreciated, i respect everyones responses, which i am truly thankful for. In my early twenties i made a few mistakes that not many know about (my big dark secret, as some call it) & it is one thing i will never talk about. However iv learnt a great deal from this experience and your totally correct when you say about self worth, this kind of work can make you feel like your no good, however like im confident in my body & just think if i can earn an extra income from something to spend more time with my children, then i will give it a try, if you dont try you will never know. If it doesnt work out, at least i can say i tried and then failed haha!! Xx

The advice about "conversation with too much personal detail" is very valid, you would be surprised at how much info people give out on sites like this, and others, which, if someone was to add it all up, would make finding you (not physically, but on other social media) really easy.
I ended up having to mail someone on another site about this, as she had been chatting for a few weeks and, over time, had let slip various pieces on info which, coupled with some basics from her profile, made it very easy to actually find face pics, not just of her, but her husband, kids and friends/family, all at functions and events tied to info that she had unwittingly given away.
Needless to say, she became very tight-lipped after that!
Remember, once its on the t'interwebby, its out there for everyone to see!

Some people are just to trusting when it comes to meeting people online and i must admit give out information to easy, iv see and hear it myself every day, i would never put my life or my kids at risk that easily & to give out personal information, well more fool them!!! Just saying.....lol

Then others go to the extreme.. It's about finding the right balance.
