I’m not sure if I ever told the story here of where ‘fincon’ comes from.

Long story short-ish: WAY before I entered the scene, I had a job as a financial controller. Our email at work went down, and IT department had no idea how long it was going to be down for; the advice was to set up a temporary email account for urgent stuff. I did so on yahoo (shows how long ago that it wasn’t using gmail (!) ) and set up a financial controller one, hence fincon. As it turned out, almost immediately the email at work was sorted out… and then, when I entered the scene, I remembered I had this anonymous email account available. Hence fincon username.

I’ve genuinely no idea what people think when they see the name. Only once has it backfired, when I got booted from a site, after someone reported me because they assumed it was a conman’s account. Other than that, never been an issue.

I thought it was like 'Think on' shortened and spelt wrong . Financial Controller makes more sense and quite an unusual choice for a swinging site.

I would hope people would take mine to mean I'm a lover not a fighter

Actually for a long time we both thought you were two females (yep honest). I think it was Bi-FemCouple bit that made us think that. It was only when we started talking I realised one of you was a bloke
