Not suprised really x
I don't know. I love my footy and I get myself into a ridiculous state of misery if, for example, Liverpool lose. I can honestly say that it has never made me want to raise my hand to anyone, let alone those I love.
I guess domestic violence has all sorts of triggers.

It's a ridiculous thing to do isn't it? To beat your partner, your loved one, your children over a game of Football :palm:.
How has the Human Race endured for so long? :(

Typical football 'Brit lager lout attitude. It's FUBAR.
I used to know a guy who had a similar reaction but with the rugby. He'd throw things in the house, shout at people and smash stuff up (pissed of course) - purely for being angry if we lost in the Six Nations or local rugby. Shocking. o_O:palm:

Hardly typical. Over 13 million people watched the England game this week. A tiny, tiny percentage of that are idiots, wankers or wife-beaters. Most footy fans are, well, like me....
Happy to get too squiffy for a Monday and talk bollocks about VAR and Dele Alli :D
I think you’ve mistaken my context. I mean as in a typical scenario with this and football/rugby etc where it’s lager loutish behaviours like. That’s what I mean. Know what I mean?
You always get squiffy :D

I must say, while I disagree with the 'diving divas' school of thought, with regards to footballers, the cheating and time-wasting at this tournament is bloody ridiculous! Neymar went down in the box today like he'd been shot. VAR showed that the Costa Rican defender had brushed against him. Really softly.

Needs to be stamped out. Teams are using it as a tactic, these days.

When your partner tells you, you've missed the football hours ago (When you thought it started at 19:00pm) and then tells you the score .

She says "well you've missed it now anyway".
I reply "I could've watched it on catch up".
"Oh yeah" she says "I never thought of that".

FFS
