The advice I would give is; be honest, be truthful about what you're looking for and what you expect from the whole 'scene'. Write clearly and correctly.. none of this War & Peace effort either, where it takes a day to read.so I'm thinking of updating the profile

Note any experiences previously had and any you wish to pursue. Don't beat around the bush with saying what you want to say either as it may end up wasting a lot of people's time otherwise, especially if you add something that is contradictory.
Just be yourselves, be as honest as possible and chill.. Don't sweat it.

Be yourself and make your bio light hearted, you don't need questions and answers and a full description of likes and dislikes, leave that to the imagination and something to chat about in conversation, less is more for me but it has to capture attention
