The advice I would give is; be honest, be truthful about what you're looking for and what you expect from the whole 'scene'. Write clearly and correctly.. none of this War & Peace effort either, where it takes a day to read.
Note any experiences previously had and any you wish to pursue. Don't beat around the bush with saying what you want to say either as it may end up wasting a lot of people's time otherwise, especially if you add something that is contradictory.
Just be yourselves, be as honest as possible and chill.. Don't sweat it.

Thanks for the advice @Lips_Pearls that is very helpful, just looked at ours again and it looks a bit stagnant now as we have done more since and it is a bit basic

I think another no no for me is a bio saying
