I see there is a Twitter storm in relation to the new TG with Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc..
Basically most are saying it was cringe-worthy, difficult watching and awkward etc.

Did you watch it? What did you think? I'm flicking through it atm on iPlayer before we go out in to the garden and so far it seems okay in all honesty.
I've chuckled a little, but also curled my toes at some bits too lol.
So did you watch it and what did you think?

Not watched it and don't have any intention too. I sort of went off the Clarkson TG because it became boring.
I think the beeb need to get rid of the show altogether, it's run it's course.

Wr have to say it's awful in comparison to Clarkson, May and Hammond. Watched 15 mins last night and there was no chemistry between them and so scripted its untrue! Roll on the Grqnd tour on Amazon we say.

I must say, those 3 had good chemistry and good be very funny to watch. I may have to watch the Amazon one.

It's definitely not as good as Mr C he's legendary , a bad imitation they need to get rid of the ginger and le bland and find someone with half an idea ..
The cars are still awesome .. Especially the Viper ... Now that's sexy

I watched it, and I have to agree with most comments I have seen about Matt LeBlanc was good not great but given time I think he'll settle in to presenting, but Chris Evans was poor, he never looked comfortable in the role and was really shouty.

It was the first show and I'll give it the benfit of the doubt, out of 10 I'd give it a 6 must do better and quickly.

Tbh as you know, I don't really watch TV but I try to have a peek at some things here and there. Was quite eager to see what TG would be like and it is a little hit & miss... x

We watched it. Trouble is Clarkson.....Hammond and May have worked together for years. You cant just throw presenters together and expect them to replecate 10 years of chemistry. I think we should give it time and not judge just yet. It has potential. We thought it was ok last night. And no it wasnt the 3 amigos but no one can replace them. But maybe these 2 can make a real go of this xxx

Watched it this morning & wasn't over impressed with it, currently watching Extra Gear on iplayer & I'm enjoying it much more than the main show. Chris Harris is the only credible motoring journalist/presenter/driver that's associated with the show now.

Have to agree that there was no real magic there. Fell asleep towards the end. Not sure if that was down to a poor programme or having spent 2 very late nights (early mornings) at The Vanilla Alternative!

To be honest we've not watched it, and honestly can not anticipate it been better, than with the original presenters, they did have a good working love/hate relationship that made interesting ish watching.

Just watching it now, on iplayer. Strikes me that it's exactly the same show but a different set of nob 'eds presenting.
