I recently tested some for a new company, albeit with a dildo.
They are handy if you don't want to ruin "the moment" as these can be inserted up to 8 hours before play, so no fumbling around mid-play.
For me, the condom barely felt it was there when used with a dildo, sadly I didn't have a male to test it out with me, so can't say how it would feel from a blokes point of view. Only issue I had, is that the condoms hangs with my labia, but that's what it's supposed to do.
Female condoms have definitely improved from when I first tried one 18 years ago.
