Dogging, Is It Swinging?

Hi guys had a chat with a friend who is a Dogger and they believe that dogging isn't the same as swinging.

Is dogging the rough end of swinging or is it something people should embrace?

Any thought

I would say nope, because dogging seems to be purely about sex (and awkward car sex at that) where as swinging has a huge social aspect to it.

I well remember having some serious fun with looby in a LWB landrover although that was in our younger days lol

Loads of dogging goes on around here. Some of our friends are avid doggers and they tell us its getting more and more popular in these parts. Not something we would want to try but I guess don't knock it till you have tried it. I would say its speed swinging lol

It's a bit of a grey area, legally speaking. I was always under the impression that it's only an offence if someone complained.
Wikipedia says;
"In the United Kingdom, public sex comes under laws related to voyeurism, exhibitionism or public displays of sexual behaviour, but public sex laws are ambiguous. Prosecution is possible for a number of offences under section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986, exposure under section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or under the common law offence of outraging public decency. The policy of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) is that arrests are a last resort and a more gradual approach should be taken in such circumstances."

Yes Wikipedia is edited by the public so take this with a pinch of salt.

Indeed it's a grey area and something I'm really not sure of. So will say nothing on that lol aside from be careful with Wiki.

For the answer to the OP;
No. Dogging is not swinging.

Uhm a few minutes fun and possibly followed by a few months of antibiotics. Ok a bit harsh but it is a potential risk.

I have it on good advice that if the police show up and they will on a regular basis to put folks off. If they know what's going off but don't actually see anything they will hang around till everyone buggers off but if they should see anything naughty taking place that any member of the public could have seen you will get a warning the first time and arrested if you get caught again.
