Yes definitely. It has slipped lately but we are both getting back into it now. It helps all round starting with confidence... We also like to have the most fun we can and it very much is a requirement for that too lol.

A while ago I posted about the importance of a strong pelvic floor, a strong pelvic floor makes a huge difference to my sexual enjoyment (I don't get complaints either :whistle:) and I recommend it to anyone - particularly to the ladies, but it's also good for the fellas...see here for more on that: https://socialswinging.com/threads/...ot-just-for-the-girls.4431/page-2#post-188408

Anyhow, pelvic floors aside, do you keep fit and is sex a big motivator for doing so?

Both myself and hubby (@EyesOpening) keep fairly fit. Actually I keep fairly fit and he keeps very fit, I'd be lying if I said we had similar fitness levels - his eclipse mine. We are both people that enjoy the outdoors and dancing, as well as being generally energetic and adventurous so fitness is important for that. Health is also an important factor. I'd be lying if I said that vanity wasn't at least a bit of a motivator, a bit of tone makes me feel happier with my appearance...

Sex is definitely up there as a motivator though, being energetic whilst engaged in penetrative sex and maintaining it till true joy is achieved is a tough order so having built up one's stamina is important...I guess it depends what you get up to in the bedroom but it's always been a significant factor in my sex life (when with other people in a penetrative sex situation in any case, obviously not every sexual situation calls for being able to go like the duracell bunny...I am also fairly lazy when having sex with myself tbh :whistle:).

So over to you? Is this an important factor for you? Is it something you bother with? If you don't do you consider that you are missing out or do you just find other ways to reach a happy conclusion? :) If you do keep fit would you not bother so much if you didn't see results in the bedroom?

Yes and yes!
Being large I want to be able to keep up with the pace so upped my exercise to what I can fit in. I use a cycle (in the bedroom) twice a week do about 30km and pole class.

Last year we embarked on a sex marathon of every day (sometimes twice) for 2 months. By the end I had to give in as I was walking like job Wayne who'd been riding his horse for week straight! That is as the deciding factor to make me up my fitness.

I garden a lot as we have a Mahoosive garden which keeps me agile.

I cycle twice a week cos it's free and I can watch tv and sweat in the comfort of my own home! Plus I have to work around what our lad does and G. So I can use the bike anytime as I don't have to leave the house!

I do pole because it doesn't feel like any form of exercise, it's a bloody good work out for parts I didn't know could ache, but also it's a massive confidence booster for me. It makes me feel sexier and has improved my confidence because i go on my own without any friends and made new ones because of it!

All these things combined keep me from becoming even larger than life, and one things for sure I will be doing pole until I can't walk anymore cos it's sexy and makes me feel fab!

This makes me feel unfit :lol: So awesome. I like the sound of the sex marathon, may have to do that...was it like a running marathon, did you ask friends to sponsor you? ;):whistle::whistle:


Damm should have thought of that! They could have bought me some more toys as I think we broke most of them! Lol xxxxxx

Plus I needed comfort ring to sit on after I gave in! John Wayne had nothing on me!

Have always trained and enjoy the feeling after a good session...gym that is.

For me it's weights, rowing and spin....plus a bit of Lycra perving :whistle:

Being fit is good all round and for sex 100%...love to build up a sweat and keep going mmm :0)) xxxx T

I'm not very fit :( but at my age I'm more concerned with dislocating my hip or the dam cramps :rofl:
I always end up in a sweat during sex !!!! Oh bugger that's the midlife hot flushes :cool_off:
There's no hope for me :palm: Cx

The fitter you are the better sex is, we too let ourselves slip a bit but are now back on the fitness path - in fact as I (G) write this, Rose is at a kettle-bells session in the town gym! :eek:

I used to be, crazily fit.. it was my job..
Now not so.. but i put it down to laziness..
Must admit.. if we have a few.. sexual marathons.. i do feel my fitness level increase..
Bound to isn't it?

Personally I think keeping fit helps with naked confidence and confidence in general......... I try to work out as much as work will allow. It's not everyone's thing though and some people can't due to health reasons :(

A thing to remember though is never push the emergency stop button on the treadmill when it's going full speed...... when I did it the guy on it went flying!!!:whistle:

Krav Maga and work keeps me relatively fit. I used to enjoy Muay Thai and Thai Chi for a while.
I do it generally to keep my vitals in good nick.
Sex isn't really a big motivator for me, although I do enjoy it if the occasion presents itself.

I go kickboxing once a week just for fun, and like pole fitness, it doesn't feel like a workout. I go with my friend and it not only makes my joints feel better and supple, but I feel confident in myself to kick ass if the occasion ever came.

We've signed up to an 8 week summer shred, starting next week with the same trainer. We've decided to eat healthily and support each other.

We're gonna die!

Back on the bike today. God the slog to proper fitness is gonna take a while longer than I thought lol.
But by festival I will be ready for 3 all nighters at peak performance ;) lol

I like to keep fit wen I can but life does catch ya out from time to time but the best people are the ones who keep it real and genuine and not let it control your life with worrying on what u look like it's personality that does it for me
