Does it objectify these girls - probably.
Do they mind - no, they actually like.
No different than any other model who likes the thoughts of prettying themselves up and people admiring them.
All this get rid of this, get rid of that - pisses me off. I mean really is it a big deal.
2 questions - are they breaking the law or are they hurting anyone?
If the answer to both is no, just let people live their lives, and start focusing on sorting out the real problems.

Having spent 9 hours today on my knees vacuuming out big transformers, I can honestly say that donning a pair of sparkly hotpants and holding up a "Round 1" placard is a very attractive prospect for me right now

Personally I don't mind if they stay or go. They add nothing to the event.
The girls them self I assume will be very well paid and if they are cool with shaking there toosh for cash who are we to say no.
