Someone who has been with us but not photo verified for three years has turned out to be fake, even had a meet verification. Both accounts are now banned. So PV is the way forward folks

Her photos were fake, when asked to Pv, she declined, a couple of other detections but I can't mention them here.

So either a man pretending to be a woman or one of these people who set up fake accounts with fake pics hoping to swap numbers where it costs £5 a minute to ring ........

......... or just a munter who used pics of a more better looking person.

Unless I have missed the message...shouldn't you say who the banned member is ? They are banned so not o reason to name them as they / he / she were using a fair name , email., Details etc.

I know what you're saying, but it's not, really, very ethical to name and shame. There could be, for example, a user on another site with the same name, but unrelated. The actual owner of the pics could be on a site somewhere. I'm reasonably sure that it would break data protection laws, too.

It's a fault in the sign up procedure.. this person/s has had access to private photos .. which is a fault of the people who verify people ..3 years !!!!

Yes the pictures are fake but you're not judging the pics... Just the anonymous person that stole the pictures. But we should be told about the fake social swinging account .

Admins will be able to see who wxchanged what privately with this person and will im sure have told people about this.
I dont think its right to ask for details publicly or to start a witch hunt.
Pretty sure if someone has been chatting to someone for 3yrs and they disappear then you would be able to connect the dots yourself

No, they didn't. They would have only had that level of access through photo verification, which they refused to do. This is what the PV system is for; to protect the members.
I do understand your concerns, but we work hard to ensure that our members are as safe as possible (we are, for example, the only site to offer a 'safety on meets' feature). Our detection methods are advancing constantly.
However, we cannot be held responsible if members give out personal information to a non-PV account with one meet verification.

Well thats great for you.. some people are trusting of others and may not want that announcing to everyone.
I’m sure if they have any concerns they can contact the admins or mods.

I dont think it will do anyone any good now to name the member and like they said above if someone is on another site and is actually genuine they could get grief for something they havent done!

What I will add here is this account has always been on our radar and been inactive for two years until recently, we can not ban just because we think something is a bit iffy, this account had no Access to media as @meandlis has mentioned and now we have evidence to prove this account is fake then it is banned, some fakes are clever but even if they are they will still be watched by the staff here and appropriate restrictions will go in place until we are satisfied.

There is an assumption here that this account has been active for those 3 years. However just because they joined 3 years ago, when photo verification was not required, doesn't mean they have been active on the site for all of that time. All I am saying is until an account is active it is more or less impossible to spot any fake anywhere.

The fact your actively on it is enough for us. And let's be honest if they can't see anything then they are isolated so no harm done. Having said that we all have a duty to take care what we do and post on here.

I think we all look to deeply into fakes, ok some are malicious but most are looking for some form of human interaction be it just lustful dream or five minutes of feeling wanted.. cc
