Sigma lenses are definitely the way to go good quality and lower prices

I did some model work for a friend who was at university studying photography in my teen years, most of it was clothed practice photos for tutors, but we did some just for fun, I don’t think I would have the confidence now to be immortalised in print in my birthday suit

Personally I'd go for pentax they are great lens but also mega expensive

Many moons ago Carl Zeiss lenses where the top of the tree, not only in photography lenses but in optical lenses, wonder what happened to them :hmm: Cxxx
I’m definitely up for some photos! Mine are mostly taken by myself with my phone and my arms aren’t that long

Zeiss and Pentax both started out as lens manufacturers. Zeiss is still going, Pentax are now owned by Ricoh.

I use Nikon and if money was no option I'd go for there's but money is something I have to consider so use sigma
I know I may get abuse for this but...
As a former professional photographer (many, MANY years ago) I have used many cameras and lenses ranging from Hasselblads to underwater disposables and it's my honest, most humble opinion that unless you're talking about specialist photography (not THAT "specialist"* photography ) then far more important than any camera or lens is the correct lighting and especially the enthusiasm and imagination of the photographer.**
