* another minor tangent.
I don't smell. I mean, if I've been working in the garden on a hot day for hours I get sweaty and dirty but I don't smell. Not like normal people, I have a faint, sweet kinda natural musk, I suppose I would describe it as. Don't use deodorant, have no need for it.
So what?
Was reading the other day about ear wax (yay) as I have a rather gummy ear at present. In amongst the info was a bit about dry ear wax (which I get, as opposed to the usual gluey, smelly accretion) and find this about
gene ABBC11:
"Dry earwax is caused by a mutation in a gene called ABBC11. There do not appear to be any ill effects... People with dry earwax also have odourless sweat due to similar changes in the output of their sweat glands."
Turns out there's a likely explanation after all.
Who knew?
