It's really no surprise why sometimes, some SG's let the whole scene down.
Sadly it's those guys (a minority) who ruin the majority and let other guys be tarred with the same brush.

I'm here partly looking for single guys and there are so many good ones, it makes me sad when people judge them all based on the actions of a few idiots.
What is important though is how well the respectful, social guys get on - the idiots really do stand out for all the wrong reasons.

As a very,very mature gent I would like to think that a rule book is unnecessary. Surely the majority of men who now find themselves on their own know how to behave. All life and especially relationships,however fleeting are a matter of diplomacy

As Pearls said, not everyone knows how to behave, they think because they're in a club for instance or on a swinging site, and there's couples and singles then some idiots think it's a free for all. Some tend to lose all reason of behaviour and that goes for both men and women. I suppose I've been fortunate to not see too many idiots and the trouble I have seen has been the majority of the women who've had too much to drink (possibly trying to calm nerves).
It's an education and yeah a rule book is needed because some have no idea of how to act normal in a swinging environment.

I have to admit that the behaviour of some single males lately is rapidly turning me off from the site
Really? On some sites the single guys are a nightmare but not on here (in our opinion). We think it's partly the enforced PV that used to happen which has meant more openness which in turn has led to single guys being treated better by the other users. It's also down to the way the site is admined.
Been approached by a couple of SGs recently, one just this week, which show a lack of consideration and class. Reading the profile is a courtesy for example. Don't just jump on pics and ask if you can get in there.

Name and shame they should know by now its not the way to do things there are enough threads on here about this
Instead of humiliation, report it to site staff and a point in the right direction or kicked from the site if it continues should suffice. I don't think total humiliation is the right way.

Agreed. No one should ever be named or shamed unless it’s for a specific reason. Reporting is the best way for anything dodgy to be dealt with.
Totally agree. Tbh the last ones didn't even seem worthy of reporting to admins. Since joining a coupe of years ago there have been a few msgs that seem either cheeky (clearly trying their luck) or just wanting to get their rocks off.
Historically we've replied with a polite note advising that they may do well to read posts and get to know members via profiles befor diving in, and that guidance is on hand (re etiquette) if required.
When we joined this wonderful community we took time to write a profile outlining key things including "No's".
The fact that we have had such forward and clearly ignorant propositions recently just gives me (her) the impression that the most recent additions to the group are thinking with their blue balls.
Not a sweeping generalization for all SG, we've met some great people here, but if you join a site like this with only yourself in mind you will be blocked. We, as many have, took time to create a profile using the tools provide by the wonderful site creators in order to save embarrassment. Why don't people read them?

In my opinion, this is because the boys haven't been able to get out to try it on and to grow up, you need that. Can't really blame them but I do wish they wouldn't.
We all know in real life they would be shy needy young men (even when they are really older men) but that's the world so I think as much tolerance as possible is needed for the 'kids'

Not in my experience. I used to get everyone in the room dancing, pissed, and every other way to enjoy yourself. The young men wobbling their willys, used to end up sitting in groups looking into drinks or getting off with girls that threw up on their shoes ??

The problem is that the packs of zombie wankers, if they persist, will usually get their dicks wet, At most club nights, there seems to be at least one woman who, at some point in the evening (usually quite late) will decide she wants a gangbang and will fuck anyone within reach. Which is fair enough, if that's what she wants, then good luck to her, but the zombie wankers know that if they are in the right place at the right time, they'll get laid, so they charge about, watching and wanking and waiting instead of participating.
My man. I know you are a pragmatist but would you please try to add a bit of positivity in there.
There is a chance it might make you smile and see the best of things even if they are grim. You might feel better and other people will respond to you more positively. That will change the outcome.
