You can code an Arduino on any machine and use the Arduino environment. The code used is pyphon.

Python is a great language.

The Arduino is a circuit board like a rasberry pi. It's often used in robotics by hobbyists. Lots of plug and play for testing. I've had a go at many different inputs and outputs but controlling a 12v motor using the house electric is a bit of a new one.
