Or there family has been killed. It's a hard one to debate really cause we open our arms to leguall entry but to jump the wall I disagree cause half of them jumping in have left there family's behind and that's something I'd never consider .i do understand
so sorry to hear about your dad, this awful state we find the n.h.s in had a lot to do with population growth and a lot to do with the government on giving the funds needed in views to force privatization.I do have an issue with immigration here, I have a sick dad, who at the moment is in hospital, he could be cared for at home but due to our GP practices being rammed and bursting at the seams, he can't, we need a district nurse weekly for bloods and wound dressing, it's simply not possible due to our NHS being so over stretched.
Only a couple of years ago I could phone my GP and have an appointment, now there isn't and you have at least a month wait, forget a doctor call out for emergencies. The list can go on.
I do understand immigration and watched this discussion but no one here can say, we are not bursting and sadly innocent people like my dad is simply left to get on with it...
So do the government build more hospitals, fund more GPs, nurses? Something has to give... Why should my dad be stuck in a hospital bed rotting when technically he can come home with a care plan but it's simply not available. xso sorry to hear about your dad, this awful state we find the n.h.s in had a lot to do with population growth and a lot to do with the government on giving the funds needed in views to force privatization.
Yes, they bloody should. Immigration is not the cause of the NHS dying (of course, I agree that raised immigration does put an extra strain on it), it is the starvation of funds - through terrible cuts by this Tory government and through the insane PFI deals of the last Labour government. Our NHS is in the state it's in because it has been neglected by our own governments. So do the government build more hospitals, fund more GPs, nurses?
Absolutely build more hospital or just fund the one we have properly. More g.ps with more assistance. And find the cash by taxing them whom we must not tax.xxSo do the government build more hospitals, fund more GPs, nurses? Something has to give...
