That’s another thing I found so disappointing, now I may not be an experienced swinger, or and some have told me playing as a sg not a true swinger rambling of topic.
Is again the vulnerability you can encounter and see being used, it saddens my soul.

The only reason I hang around here is you lot and the positivity I see.
I know it’s not always perfect but what is.

I think we run the risk of becoming censorious. Alcohol, or indeed other possibilities, can be a fine adjunct to a memorable evening - within reasonable limits.

I don't at all mind sharing a bottle of wine over an evening. Someone who needs a couple of bottles just to get through it is less likely to float my boat tho'.

As with so much in life, know yourself and know your limits.

That is terrifying. Responsible drinking is what we all try and do when mixing a drink with swinging. I would like to think that if I was in that situation someone from the venue would have a word in my ear and give me water not more rum.

Drunken and vulnerable women being taken advantage of by cynical, selfish predatory men is something that has always sickened me. I've rescued many damsels in distress in my time. As a man that feels sex is only worthwhile if your partner is thoroughly enjoying the experience I just can't understand what men get out of shagging a barely responsive woman. It's like the stories you hear of women being drugged unconscious. What's the point? It can really only be a power thing and not a sex thing. Perhaps they feel they couldn't handle a fully conscious, demanding woman. Sad little men

Ok for me over the years I have seen a huge decline in behaviour, swingers used to be honest and genuine, if you were to go back ten years you will know what I mean, we have made amazing friends throughout the years. I still feel that people can not grasp the whole concept of swinging and need to be more honest, if you don't like someone then be honest about it, leave genuine verifications. If a meet didn't go as planned like they didn't quite look like their photos then say that so others can see. (this happens a lot) We met someone last year at an event, we spoke to the male, he told us his wife was busy else where but he would introduce us later, we never saw her or them together, our verification was honest about this to his dismay. Sorry but we can't lie. I do think though people are also becoming expectant, because we are swingers then you have to be attracted to me or meet, sorry not the case, we meet people we want to due to attraction and nothing else. I had a message once asking when are we going to meet, I replied never as you are not what we are looking for, the sheer disgust from this person was shocking, he thought that he could meet as we had chatted and it was on the cards, nope sorry.
Be honest, be real, be genuine, never be expectant of anything.

Easter, Christmas and summer hols are always a problem for us here. We get an influx of what we call "Friday night knock one out" group. Needless to say, they don't stay long when they realise we have a hidden gallery. x

Summed up perfectly there. We do get a lot of them coming on. This is where I think there is a blurred line (or several) between swinging, online swingers' sites and a free "porn" site, containing "real swingers' photos" and so on..

I respect everyone I meet aslong as its shown me and think we should remember that at all times.

Biggest dislike is when someone messages you they think that earns them a god given right to a response.
Even on dating sites I do not respond if the person isn’t for me, once you open the dialogue that you dont want to talk or meet them then you either get one of three
1. Ok good luck and thanks (rare)
2. Oh come on you know you want to, just say yes etc (common)
3. I didnt want to screw you anyway you .. insert nasty name or descriptive.. (usual)

We've recently heard of a very bad situation involving the same.
There was a site organised event and the evening was a success, we didn't attend due to personal reasons. Anyway, one of the single ladies who did attend, was apparently so pissed that several people were trying to convince her to go back to theirs and their hotel and basically draw her away from everything else so they could obviously fulfil their own needs.
Sorry but that is disgusting. Sod your own selfishness, how about actually supporting this lady and making sure she's safe and sound?
Talk about taking advantage of someone.

They left 30 minutes later. A guy wouldn't have even been allowed in but somehow that was fine. Same night another girl was kicking off, not sure what over, but was basically shit faced.

Thats so wrong!! I dont think anyone male or female should be allowed in drunk and drink should be limited somewhat as there are more and more cases coming up about drink and consent. What happens if a girl is raped in a swingers club but because she was that drunk she didnt consent or raped after.. a lot of the time it would be ripped apart and thrown back in her face that she was a swinger and must obviously have consented being there.
Its a very dangerous ground to walk on now in relation to consent etc

Agreed. It can definitely be disastrous and is very much one sided
