I don't think weed is harmful. The United States is finally realizing that and half the nation has legalized it. It produces a huge tax revenue and I'm glad to see this happening!

Well quite the opposite to harmful for me. I have Lupus which is an auto immune disease and smoking a weed actually relieves my pain and other neuropathic symptoms. I smoke weeds so rarely now as I'm always working; think the last time was early this year, but there is no doubt for me that it has therapuetic properties xx
.
I agree it's definitely time we legalised cannabis in the UK. Far more harm is done by tobacco and alcohol, which are also much more significant as 'gateway drugs' than cannabis. The only reason I can think of why we haven't is because of lobbying pressure from the tobacco and alcohol companies who also donate towards the funds of both the main political parties... funny that.

WOW... Each time I log on I feel like I have just entered the local church forum! So many moralistic people with such harden views.

I led quite a sheltered life, yes I know it is hard to believe (even though I was having sex with anybody and everybody from an early age). My oh was a real eye opener to the world and even that took 15-20 yrs to sink in.

Neither of us smoke or do drugs, but we do not hold it against those that do (in moderation).

Drugs come in many forms and many of them are legal and ruin lives, drinking / gambling etc... Even sex / swinging can be addictive and ruin lives / families / relationships, yet we feel that it is ok to have a forum promoting sex outside of a relationship?

Hand up all you single males that are married...

Personally I think smoking is disgusting and all smokers should be banned from entering public areas, anybody that smokes should be made an outcast, can we ban everybody that smokes and make them dye their hair green so we know who they are? How does that work with everybody?

Another wine please...

Wow where's that come from??
No one on this thread has shown any moralistic views Sarah, most are pro weed and some have shared experiences..

Weed makes me horny. In 2006 when I was off my bi-polar meds (which normally kill my libedo). I'd always wank after getting high. It didn't take long for this to be an automatic response. Just packing my bowl would get me hard. hehehehehe

Not sure, there are a few anti drug posts but thought I also read that people were being banned from socials / clubs etc if they take drugs. In a club situation you may ask them to leave and explain that drugs are not welcome, there are usually plenty of signs in clubs / pubs to that effect.

As said, I am not in favour of drugs, I know people that do take them, and people know they are not acceptable in my home. Drugs are the same as drink or anything else, if a person is misbehaving due to being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, then you are unlikely to meet with them or having to do with them, but like all of us, we can all make mistakes and should a person be a little out of order due to being under the influence of something then it is possible to give them a second chance, but habitual offenders would be shown the door

Must lay off the wine...

Not at all! More wine needed :D
Yeah I think one post was from members who ran socials and were hugely anti drugs, so I think you had a valid point.. ;)
I agree, most people deserve a second chance and you'll find that once told off first time, they usually don't do it again.
But yes drink/drugs, same thing really but socially acceptable because of legality etc.

Always enjoy reading your point of view.. :) x
