I gave sex up for lent last year never realised Lent went on for so long i thought it finished after 40days..
Well I’ve quit smoking and drinking, and cut simple sugars out of my diet for lent.
Which didn’t go well today as I was bought 4 birthday cakes by the teams and office staff, now I feel ill.
Normally not one to care, but well getting older and struggled with addictions all my life.

As I've gotten older my philosophy on life has become "you're not here for long, you'd better bloody well enjoy it whilst you can" I feel it would be churlish and indeed hypocritical of me to give up anything I enjoy
