Little Or Large?

so after joining this site and receiving such a warm welcome we decided it might be a good idea to close down our other accounts. while going through some unread messages i came across one message questioning if i should be showing pics of me(male) as i'm overweight and as my junk isn't anything to call home about....their words......now while i do have a thick skin and i'm not going to cry about it....it did hurt my feelings a little and got me questioning is the swinger life style hinged on what we look like on the outside???

i get there's an attraction element but in my opinion i find confidence and personality a big turn on the physical is secondary to that....
over the past year we have received some really horrid messages with regards to body size or appendage size even bex has received a few negative and hurtful messages and as you can all see she rocks a cracking curvy figure(not that i'm bias of course)

my question to you guys is would you rather have a meet with a skinny single or couple who had the personality of a wet tea bag or someone with a few extra pounds who you can have a laugh and fun with???

Me pesonally (Mrs) i find someone i get on with is far more attractive than a body. I have to connect with a person on some sort of level before i can do anything with them. A sense of humour is the biggest turn on for me, i need to be able to laugh with a person otherwise its a no go for me.

That's disgusting tbh but it does show however, that's not what swinging is really about. It really is not.
Overweight, junk anything to call home? Balls to that. What are they some Adonis themselves or something?
Sadly it goes to show how spiteful a lot of people can be. Even more so over there.
It's a breeding ground for negativity and spitefulness.

After checking your media, you both look fine from here. But it's not what anyone else thinks; it's how you feel. How confident you are. Balls to anyone else tbh.

Give us someone who we can relax with and have a good laugh with. Someone we can connect with. That's what is most important to us. Size is irrespective in this for us. We've had fun with people from all sorts of sizes and backgrounds, even saying that alone is almost a fine line as it's really not important.
Personality and that charm, the attraction mentally is what gets us. The spark..
We find that spark in someone and if it's reciprocated, then it's happy days. x

Firstly i would like to say that is terrible no one should be sizeist in my opinion size is irrelevent. I would rather meet someone that has huge personality and big than someone that is skinny and has the personality of a slug, and your pics are lovely have enjoyed taking a peek or two

Thats awful to have got messahes like that. we are on the larger side but my confidence has grown so much since we started our journey
I look at my pics and think eww dont like that but others like it.
For us meeting people its not really about looks but the personality and sense of humour and if there is that spark between us.

Wow guys dunno what to say such a massive response.... Very moving to read such positive reinforcement ... Wish we had found this site site before the others.. .has always been my opinion we generally body shame ourselves enough .. Little or large why should anyone want to do that to others I guess it's just a down side to how we choose to live our lives ... Well I'm with the rest....I've wasted far too much time being bothered about the way I look or what anyone else thinks about the way I look.... if I lose weight I do it for me. I look at pictures of women with fantastic amazing bodies and wish I looked like that. Then I think are they having as much naughty fun as me? Are they comfortable in their own skin ? Who knows?

For us it's all about the connection and that little bit of chemistry. Body size, age within reason i.e. not my kids ages,looks...in the grand scheme of things not important to us.
On the other hand if you look like a god or goddess and you are a complete dick then for us you can trot on....

As others, in the interest of thorough research, I have perved your pics...I mean had a look.... yum yum very sexy and erotic xx

That's horrible. I'm sick of body shamers whether it's general media or anything thats meant to be a bit more fun.

Sooo many points raised in this thread we can relate to!
Mr J and I have both been concerned as to how our bodies would be 'seen'... Thank goodness we gravitated towards this site over the others!
If people want to pull you off the ladder and knock you down, it's a reflection of themselves and there hang ups, not yours!!!
It has taken us several months to feel at ease with ourselves and how we look, and much of that is down to being a part of a supportive, generous community! Its taken me 7 years to wear a bikini in front of people.... And a couple of weeks ago I did it and it felt good!
For us attraction is not skin deep, it's definitely about the full package, goodness some times we are attracted to people's minds and find that a turn on!!!! X x

For me, I have to get on with a person and if they're friendly and easy to chat to, that is a huge attraction. Of course there is an element of physical attraction aswell, but personality is more important to me.

See here's the thing, there's a difference between having a preference for people of a particular body shape, and actually insulting someone else over their body shape. We can't all be model-thin (gosh, I wish I could) and even though I admit I would with someone of a certain body shape if the offer was there, I would rather someone with a beautiful personality (that wasn't a member of the "body beautifuls") than someone with supremely god-like features yet lacking in empathy. Sadly I've known a few of the latter in my time, and there's simply no need for it: our looks will change over time, we however are fully responsible for our personality and how we relate with and treat others, and that's what counts.
