I heard a teacher reading out a nmonic a while back and didn't get it... was looked at as if stupid and asked "didn't you learn trig"? Oh says I, you mean Saints On High Can Always Have Tea Or Alcholol... Sin=Opposite/Hypotanuse...... appears there is a new one for this, guessing the Alcholol mentioned was thought PI..
When I was working in an architects office, we were surveying a house for refurb. I noticed the senior technician writing, on the floorplans, 'nbg' next to various things like downpipes, steps, non-loadbearing walls etc. I asked him what it meant and he replied "no bloody good". I still use that acronym today
