The problem is letting in guys puts off some couples (I don't think this would be the case if numbers and quality is managed right) I personally would would make it £100 per bloke to enter then do a sliding scale of discounts as I see fit or even make it if we got complaints your gone. With the right sort of guys I am sure we could make everyone happy

In other words prices can't be cheap as all and sundry would be there. Women pay next to nothing as that's what attract the majority. It's not politically correct but that's reality I'm afraid
It's not correct and as Ive said its been proved that clubs can work with same entry fees x

This is where constructive criticism is needed though as it could be beneficial to others. I know for example, a couple on here who have issues with some other clubs for various reasons and have mentioned it. This in turn gives the opportunity to discuss such things.
Not that I am saying you should, I'm just saying - that this is where constructive criticism is needed for the benefit of others. :)

But my view on it may not be the opinion of someone else plus I've got friends that go there and love it so that's why my thoughts stay away from the message boards.

I don't personally think making it free or a lot cheaper for women would make it more likely for them to go. Numbers are low, because there are less single women on the scene. The same price for all singles would be fairer. x

Personally I think the Vanilla Alternative have it right. There is a small price difference between single gents and couples, ladies don't go free they do pay a much smaller entry though.
However single guys are limited in numbers. They have to apply before entry is allowed and they are vetted.
In all the times we have been there we have only once had trouble with a guy and he was part of a couple!
I don't for one minute agree that astronomical prices limit the amount of guys, that's just milking the cash cow. Saying we will only allow X amount of guys in on a given night will limit the numbers and not much else does. Which will attract more couples which will offset costs.
We just don't go to clubs that don't have control of the numbers of guys now. I don't go out and expect to be defending D half the night, she never relaxes properly anyway so it makes it all a bit pointless.
Not to mention being surrounded by 6+ guys wanking when I'm not Bi and trying to relax and play is quite off putting. The wondering hands piss D off and therefore me emencly.
I know not all guys are the same but as soon as the numbers start to go up we have experienced all of those things in other clubs apart from the VA.

Unfortunately it's a vicious circle, it's unlikely that to create parity that couples & single guy prices would be reduced to get closer to single ladies prices. It would be more likely that single ladies prices would increase & probably reduce the numbers of single ladies which would be counter productive.
Potentially the clubs with a liquor licence could shoulder a reduction in entry as drinks profits are still there, it must be a lot tighter for "bring your own alcohol" clubs

I have no idea how they survive to be honest.
Entry costs is all they have, so it makes sense that unlimited entry for single males with inflated entry prices is a good way for them to make a quick buck.

Ok i have no doubt a lot will disagree, but anyway..
I can see both sides of the coin.
I have always been an advocate for the single guy..
Always thought they got a rough deal. Why should they pay more than a couple? Or a single female who often gets in free.
I have even argued with clubs re their entry when, organising a social.. re the price and also the amount they let in. I feel maybe its a little sexist?
I have seen single females and couples act disgracefully.. and quite frankly single guys put them to shame.
Anyway then i thought about it.. realistically..
Ok so let single gents in for a tenner? What would happen..
Single lads night out. Drunken Stag do not swingers, aye up lads lets pop in here.. a bloody swinging club...it'll be full of half naked people 'shagging' we will ave a right larf.. n get our leg over.. for sure.
Then you do actually get the single guy who is either a letch and wont take no for an answer.. or a bloody oh woa is me moaner..
Nightmare for patrons and the club..
Sometimes couples and single ladies, prefer single guys not to be around when socialising, this does not include myself by the way.. So therefore choose, to attend on Saturdays.
If they are seeking male company they will attend on a Friday.
There is a growing trend at the min.. to couple up.. "ticketing" for couples nights.. which is fine of course.. if you remain in their company.. I'm not really arssed, but i do know.. many clubs do take a dim veiw of this.
So re the the price of single guy entry.. many are avoiding the ridiculous prices anyway..

I get why single guys are charged a bit more for attending clubs but one recently I've seen is free for single girls but a stinging £50 for a guy. If you don't want guys there, say so.
An interesting argument for discrimination.....just saying. Personally I'd rather spend my heard earned doing the same thing and socialising in pubs for free than pay extra because I'm a bloke. Shoe on the other foot there'd be murder.

If you charged £100 for a single you really aren't necessarily going to get a better class of guy. It's not all about numbers. Yes you will reduce numbers massively and only get guys who are a bit more privileged. This does not make them more suitable to be around potentially. Someone like myself, just have to see my feedback, quite possibly (I certainly would not attend at such a price) would not go and it's not just the guy missing out. You would miss out on meeting possibly a genuine guy who you could become friends with purely on a biased opinion.

And also they'd be expected to be leaving together also which makes it unworkable if you're on the fiddle

ok. my 2 pence!!!!!

It is SEXIST. there I said it.

I get no club wants a million horny single guys. so instead of charging an extortionate amount of money, limit the number of single guys allowed in instead!!!! simple fair and easy (just like me)

soon these guys will learn that they can pay £60 to get in and not get anywhere, or £60 for a shag with a hot escort.

So yeah, sexist and extortionate, its why you wont see me at one of these events

Instead of making it so expensive for single guys to get into a club why don't the clubs themselves have a limit on how many single guys can enter on the night. That way they can make the charge nearer or on the dot of what a single woman would pay.

It's a matter of economics. Low price for single ladies may tempt more to attend. More guys want to attend and therefore are more willing to pay and club owners know this.

Most clubs do limit the number of single guys they allow in. I did ask the owners of my local club why they did this and they told me they would like to allow more in but most of their members are couples and it's the couples who don't like too many sg's in the club. Unfortunately they are seen as a nuisance, get pissed, get in the way or other excuses. Oddly this doesn't seem to be a problem if it's single females.
So whilst the club would like more single guys they cannot afford to loose their main income stream, the couples.
I'm not agreeing or defending their comments, only passing on their reasons for the cap on single guys.
