Anything my ex wife cooked to much oil and she forgot food hygiene leaving meat out too long shave had food poisoning too often.

I remember when I first moved in with a woman and she made me chips and I said "Where's the black bits? My Mum's chips always had black bits."
And she replied "They're not supposed to have black bits. Your Mum needs to change the oil in the fryer."
.Everything me Mam cooked had black bits........ chips, fish fingers, onion rings, crispy pancakes, sausages, burgers, mash, gravy, scampi .......... peas and carrots

Love liver and onions with Yorkshire Pudding but that us the full extent of offal that I will eat....xLove liver, onions, gravy and mash potato or stuffed heart yummmy but all fall by the wayside for kidneys and rice so yummmy, but afraid my pleas for it have fallen in a very cold shoulder, with ‘if you want it cook it yourself’ ....that’s not going to happen as I’ve only just mastered the art of cooking scrambled egg with bacon in the microwave:0)) T
I used to adverse reaction to black pudding and pork scratching as a young one but must say its a aquired taste just dont ask me to try tripe
