This made me chuckle!!!! I too spent a lot of childhood at Wickstead Park!!! #smallworldHaha.... I could have ended up with the same name as every saturday for ten years my dad took us to wicksteed, I had a free wristband we went so much.... as he in British steel and the slides ect had made in British steel, I thought we owned itxx
Ours is a combination of our real names.... We got given a nickname many years ago by friends and it stuck!

But yes, the name comes from "Diamond" Joe Quimby, the philandering, scandal-ridden mayor of Springfield.

The connections with mayor Quimby being a shit came after the 'DiamondJoe' profile was formed. I thought about it and went, Oh yeah, that kinda fits.
