Yeah I cringe too at it. I don’t like getting presents etc and then being made to open them in front of people showing that faux happiness. Balls I say. I love it for others, but really.... leave me out of it. Can’t stand that side of it tbh. X

Tis me though... I genuinely feel uncomfortable. Not for others, just me. Same on birthdays too. A card is nice and I always appreciate the thoughts behind lovely gifts..
Everyone seems to buy me whisky which is cool, but don't ram it in my face and ask me to open it there & then. Nah man.. don't like that. x
