Exactly, and yes you're correct it wasn't his intentionsI am positive your intentions is not to segregate. You could always just start a thread in the forum to help each other.
Okay we - Stew and I, discussed this privately before hand and from what I can gather, the reason behind Stew's idea/suggestion was simple, but of course - it's not really as simple as that.. sadly..
Imagine the site a motorway..
We have the outside lane - the fast lane, the middle lane that gets hogged by people not wanting to go 100mph but happy to do 70...
and then the inside lane, notably used when on an incline by erm.. slower vehicles.. perhaps.

The over 50's section would have been the slow lane if you like and the reason behind it was to make it a little slower paced for some of those who perhaps may not be able to keep up with the general pace of some of the forums.
However, as I said in the pm -
What I will say is this;
Everyone here is inclusive not exclusive. Everyone is equal. Be it race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, persuasion and so on.
As we're all equal, doing so will alienate anyone within this set criteria if it makes sense.
We wouldn't want people outed/excluded due to their age, even if golden swingers or not.

To an extent I agree it would/could be a good idea, but we're all equal here and therefore I don't think it's fair to segregate anyone in such a manner.
I hope this makes sense?
So I agree, but at the same time don't think it would work as it would almost alienate people..
I do see the point and it would help for those who are slower on forums and sites, compared to those who are adept to using sites and social media..
To be fair, Stew's intentions are not to segregate - but it would happen of course without his intentions due to the nature of it.
I still personally do see the point, however it would be exclusive and not inclusive. Regardless of younger peeps being welcomed to that section or not.

) there are alot of members in our age bracket on here, there are also alot of members 10 years younger on here who would be happy to meet us (hopefully) what i'm trying to say is if we where in different section they may not look at our profile in the same way, thinking that we are happy to poodle along in the slow lane, where as in fact we are more than happy to venture in the middle lane and even into the fast lane if we have to ( admins motorway )
