I have been thinking about this post and just a suggestion, what about changing your view on a club scenario, we don't have any intentions when going to a club, we simple want to go and meet people that we know and new people, enjoying the company and having a laugh, if we hit it off with anyone then we make a date for another time.
I would say go to social events that we have coming up, get to know members and others from the club and who knows, you could be having another meet up before you know it.
Clubs are not all about playing.
I certainly wouldn't be thinking about rejection as that shouldn't come into it, you are a couple and if exchanging partners then all of this would be discussed prior to anything happening. (y)

We had nerves and for our initial visit settled them by taking sex off the table and just going for a look. The nerves haven't gone completely away but we have fantastic fun now

Everyone goes for the same thing speak to people and see how it goes but even if you are rejected it's never in a offensive way in our experience
