Having been on here for just over 5 months, I have some observations but generally the site works well and, as intended, is quite different from others available.

It's noticeable that sometimes there is very little activity during the Monday to Friday daytime period. Obviously a lot of people are at work doing what they get paid for and unlike me, don't constantly keep an eye on Social Swinging (As I run my own business, I can choose to do whatever I like during the day. I think it's called multi-tasking!)

Not many clubs seem to be actively involved and from those that are, there is not much flowing on a regular basis. The events calendar is under used possibly as it's intended for event organisers to submit details and for what ever reason, many don't seem to be doing that.

There is often lots of initial activity from new members but in many cases, that soon either stops or is very infrequent.

I think the above may be stating the obvious but it's worth recording anyway. Regarding new members, they obviously need to try out the site and for some, maybe decide it's not for them. It's far better to have a core membership of genuine people that like the site and make use of it on a regular basis rather than a much larger number that are often just here in name only. Hopefully, once the subscription thing is sorted, that may be the carrot to keep people either paid up and interested or decide it's not for them.

I can't think of anything specific that needs changing but there is nothing wrong with trying out new ideas for the site. Some may work whilst others may not but if you don't try, you will never know.

I completely agree on all points.
I am saddened to see lack of club input when I worked so hard to get the events calendar sorted - especially in comparison to what it was like..
And of course the clubs' directory. We went from a list of links, to that. Sad really.

One of the key issues I feel, is mobile menus so I am currently on it as we speak and I have some major changes coming as mentioned, and this includes for mobile users.

I have some updates coming with regards to following and followers, so watch this space!
Thought about adding a roadmap, but won't. Will reveal snippets here and there.

I can't think of any improvements off the top of my head - I like it a lot as it is. That said, being out in the sticks where connection speeds and bandwidth are minimal, I'd say any desire for improvement from my standpoint would be related to load speed and waterfall.
;)

One thing that would be useful is if when you are doing one to one chat that this conversation stays available to view on screen after you have finished chatting. This means that if I am chatting and Lew is not around that he can view the conversation after the fact. This is not about checking up but saving the need to recall how the conversation went. We have noticed that the amount that can be seen retrospectively varies and also that you can't see both sides of the chat. I hope this makes sense! If not give me a shout.:)

We do have the option for you to save chats, but I disabled it in case it was used against people or used in some sinister fashion..
However, if enough call, I can easily allow members to save chatlogs.
Once you've finished chats and closed the tab, of course, it will no longer then be viewable unless you click the person's name again.
That said, I clear the caches daily sometimes twice daily, which means the logs won't exist.
In this case, you will most likely want to save chats so I will look into it. :)
