Yeah it’s like not being served beer the day before your 18th. It is a bit crazy but I suppose with the very nature of this beast, it’s an ad-hoc game of cat & mouse I suppose. X

Indeed it’s on the rise again, yet schools and universities are opening. Dangerous times again lay ahead I fear.
I think we expected it here. With the easing of lockdown and the influx of holiday makers I suppose it was inevitable

I could put a link up here from .gov website (well hidden) which states that covid-19 was downgraded to nothing worse than the flu in March this year. There are similar links at the World Health Organisation and the American Centre for Disease Control - like I said fake flu - take off your masks and no more social distancing. Keep washing your hands though especially if you pick your nose or scratch yer arse

I see on the news tonight here in Melbourne that you guys are getting nearly 4,500 new cases a day...WOW, hope you are all staying healthy, distancing yourselves and being careful. We have 1 more week in complete lock down including a curfew here and we reported only 14 cases today so we are on track to hopefully start to resume some degree of a normal life although still with some restrictions soon...take care
I dont believe the hype over it and the media is exaggerating about it, it will show in the end that the swedish model of keeping it as business as usual is what most should do, even bill gates is praising sweden of how good they are handing the situation.
Well tell that to the families of nearly 1 million people that have lost their lives
Whilst ofcourse it is not good, you still have to look at it from the world population and put it into context.

I'm not a great one for conspiracy theories but we seem to be facing another lockdown, with swingeing fines for non-compliance, and yet the death figures of people that died with covid are below.
Remember that is people that died WITH covid, not because of it.

Indeed we are. Unfortunately, some out there don’t give a toss, so we either herd them up, and isolate them on a deserted island, or take their phones away.
