I’d love one but there’s no room here, I’m thinking of sticking the bbq in the kitchen ?
I dont know if they are available in your area or if they are known by a different name, but pellet stoves can fit almost anywhere. The Chimney is more like a vent on a gas appliance. They burn small wood Pellets made out of pressed sawdust.
I have a full size stove.
I can almost fit a body in it.
In case I ever need to .

I don’t have a chimney though! Unless a whack a hole in the wall with my hammer and chisel ?

Pellet stoves dont yse a conventional Chimney. If you have a gas powered stove or water heater or clothes dryer it should have a snall vent through a wall.
Pellet stoves are more like that vent.
My house is wood framed so I just sawed a hole though the roof for the Chimney

That’s good. Well, manageable. Aye ours is through the roof. Ridiculous.
We had to learn many years ago to be careful with gas and leccy, its paying off now. We dont have the gas on all the time, even during the winter, it is programmed to come on 3 times a day, for a couple of hours each time. Our biggest expense is leccy, but even then we try to be sensible, making sure we put full loads in the washer etc.

Barely use anything here - contrary to the estimates, but that’s a good practice.
