Whilst reading through some of the forum posts, we've noticed a lot of swinging couples play alone away from their partners, and whilst the partners may be aware of the situation, and seem happy with it, this is something we could never do as it would feel like an affair, and not in the spirit of swinging, we were dragged up when swinging was deemed to be wife swapping, and if one partner slept with another person outside the confines of the bedroom, it was adultery !!!.
Whilst we know times have changed, as has swinging, what are other peoples views on this ???

Agreed....

Personally We have both agreed that if either one of us isn't there we would consider that to be cheating. Maybe We're just old fashioned?!
Totally agree..

So I agree on both the OP and yours @TGBS2015
There seems to be a lot who are indeed happy to play alone.
Officially I cannot comment...
But I do tend to agree.

I wouldn't be comfortable with either one of us playing alone. It's an experience to be shared and enjoyed by both parties. Personally We have both agreed that if either one of us isn't there we would consider that to be cheating. Maybe We're just old fashioned?! :) x
No we are of the same opinion !!! but it does seem to be getting a common way now or so it would seem, !!

For us (OUR OPINION ONLY !!) its not a marriage if partners are doing their own thing outside the confines of each other, a marriage is meant to be sharing life's ups and downs with each other and enjoying those experiences with each other !!!

I don't want to speak out of turn but here's a theory.
If you have the sole intention to play alone, Could that be a case of a couple doing it for the wrong reasons? For us we see it as an enhancement to our relationship.. Could be possible playing alone is a form of escapism? X

Maybe, We too see it for the same reasons as an enhancement to our already happy love lives, and enjoy thoroughly the experience of each other been satisfied by others both through watching and its a massive turn on for us, but WE Both have to be there to do that !!!

I don't think it's old fashioned, I think it's called having respect for your other half and like others have posted it should be enriching and enjoying the experience together.

We agree totally, we entered into this together to enjoy the experiences together, and to share them later on too,;). So old fashioned no, just correct. x

I disagree. I mainly play alone - sometimes I tell Mr beforehand, sometimes not - I send him a pic or a text whilst he's at work midway through or after the event. He always knows whatever I've been up to - but part of the fun for us is how we play. I don't often repeat meet people, so there's certainly no 'affair' going on, and it's not cheating if he knows (and encourages)

Playing seperately isn't for us. We've been in the lifestyle for a little over a year, so fairly new. I wouldn't say it's adultery if both parties have agreed to play seperately and though I wouldn't judge those that do, I'm curious to know why people do this. -Mr.

As a single guy I can understand both sides. I guess it depends on what was agreed beforehand and what both Mr and Mrs enjoys. Some will enjoy watching and or taking part while others might get excited by the idea of their other half being with someone else and sending pics during or after of even a cheeky video. At the end of the day, it all comes down to having that level of trust to know that nobody will cross whatever line was drown when you decided to go down this path.
