Dick pics (And pussies) - genitalia - as avatars.... (hot topic?)

Hi Sexy Peeps,

Okay here's one that may stir the pot a little, so please keep it clean and friendly and think of others, before pressing enter!

Something has been brought to our attention and it's not the first time, in fact we've had it mentioned to us several times, and most recently last week when we hit a bit of a problem.

The scenario was this, and yes this is absolutely genuine and all the events that followed took place;
A professional couple joined and instantly had a follower who has a dick pic as an avatar.

A private discussion took place between myself and this couple, and their issue was - the person followed them and of course, everytime they logged in, on their wall they would see the image of an erect penis.....

Now I'm not being funny, and I do tend to agree, but if a little shy, curious or even deeply private - I would not want the avatar of someone's erect dick, on my screen every time I logged on!

So the suggestion was, they'd ask politely - the person who followed them, to unfollow. Then they blocked this person. This then removed the follower and the avatar.

Sadly, only two days' later they asked to have their account removed. Yes it was a result of this as they are a professional couple, very discreet and didn't just want dick pic avatars popping up on their newsfeed and followers list - which shows every time you login.

So, we've been mulling it over and want to ask YOU, should we take this one step further and really stand out from the crowd, and block dick pic avatars?

Let's be clear, someone's dick is the same as a ladies beaver - it's genitalia so both are covered by the same rule, whereas breasts for example would be different again.
Not that we see many ladies here using their fur purses as avatars, let's be honest....

So ladies and gents, over to you - do we consider stopping dick pic avatars or not?
Yes this is a serious vote and will be enforced if decided upon.

It does put me off and most ladies I imagine, dick pics can be kept to private in photos but I think get rid of them on avatars, I like to open the wrapper first before seeing the present xx

Hmmm. OK. For me personally, a dick picture as an avatar, isn't particularly appealing, as I suspect the same can be said for a lot of ladies.
I do tend to ignore them, afterall, I tend to see them more or less everyday! Although guaranteed not erect!! Well 99% of the time anyway and no I'm not a hooker!
Hopefully some males, would have the foresight, to realise this, and choose something a little more appealing/classy. When their lack of success and the penny drops.
But...
The same could be said for nice flappy kebab shots or splayed ladies arses some love them some hate them.
I do think at the end of the day it's a swinging site, where people's ultimate goals are to meet for sex.. It's not Facebook. I'm not sure, we have the right to, ask/tell people, that they don't have the right, to choose their own avatar. A lot probably won't agree with me, but these are my thoughts.

True it's a swinging site and for people looking for sex. That said the majority are not keen on dick pic avatars on their newsfeed and followers.
If it was not for prior mentions and sadly this situation with a couple, this probably wouldn't have been necessary.
As for the latter regarding whether we have the right to or not, in one sense we do - as we do have rights over what images are approved or not.
Ethically well that's another story, but we do have the rights to just as we have the right to ban people and refuse images if they don't apply within the rules... But that's doesn't mean ethically it's not questionable.

However, this may be a good thread to get the attention of those who are not happy with dick pic avatars on their profiles when they receive a new follower...
That's the key thing here and I wish to draw your attention to this;

When you get a new follower with a dick pic, every time you log in, their dick avatar is loaded on your screen.. So you cannot help but have an erect or flaccid dick on your screen after logging in. Tasteful?
Don't know and that's what this poll will dictate...

If anything this may even help others' who think it could be an idea to show images of their erect knobs as an avatar, or in their gallery album..

If people want to add dick/beaver pics they can put them in thier photo albums where thay can still be viewed but they are not then in your face everytime you login. My personal view, without wanting to offend anyone, is that they haven't really thought through how thier profile will be seen by others, so for me I'd prefer not to see them.

Okay with the mention of too many rules I want to add quickly and this is very important;

We're creating an environment where YOU decide what goes and what doesn't, on top of what I have already put in place...
So you guys are essentially helping build it and add rules that will change and shape this site further to what we already are.

Also I will say, for me? For us? This is a HUGE gamble as it can easily bite us in the arse....

But remember one thing folks - we're a site that people want to be a part of, not a site that people want to leave!
We're not replacing other sites, we're doing what they can't!
And we're still capping membership too, which means it will be exclusive.
You will have to find us and will be invite only.

As it stands, the only rules we have are the usual ones for photos, abuse and two photos to access the gallery. That's it.
