Shall the site consider enforcing PV (photo verification) to all members?

So the finer details I am yet to work out and decide upon, but I have made the decision - we are 100% enforcing photo verification for the site.

I'd like to point out that some who voted no are extremely inactive on the site, some are already PV'd so I don't understand why they voted no :confused: and some we have had some doubts over anyway.
Of all who voted no, one account have a genuine concern over safety of the images, which I do kind of understand and we have discussed this and I am more than happy to meet them for coffee.

Additionally I am going to consider ways of offering an 'off-site' feature where people can send me PV's off site, such as using ****** etc to make it easier for people and add an element of extra safety.

So in short;
We are going to do this.
We will be the first ever swinging site to enforce fully photo verified system (other sites who offer PV allow pics of your body and use that as a PV lol o_O :palm: )
We do not have the finer details as of yet. (I will work on them over the coming weeks)
There is no exact ETA to rollout as of yet.
We still have some things to decide and work on, such as best practices, safety and data management, plus how long to allow newbies to use the site before either PV or out.

Some of you who are here and are not currently PV'd I will bein touch with soon.

Absolutely fantastic! I'm thrilled about this. I believe this will set this site apart from the rest 100%. People will be able to have total reassurance that the site are actively doing all it can to ensure a safe and real environment for their members.

We know, without any shadow of a doubt, that this is a gamble.... But as I said to the staff earlier;

I firmly believe that if genuine and you have nothing to hide, then you'd do it.
If you didn't then let's face it, how would you expect a meet anyway? What, turn up with a potato sack on your head?
Exactly. So you'd have to show your face at some time, so it makes no sense in not doing this.
You go to a social/play meet at a club organised by us or a member; you will show your face.
You want a RL meet with someone here; you will show your face.
So what gives?

The way I see it is that you air your dirty laundry on FB, why not show your face here! My photo, the potm, says that exactly. I'm not ashamed of who or what I am, I'm not ashamed of my lifestyle choice, I may be concerned about my weight but hey, I'm guessing some on here are too!
We want to meet like minded people, that means talking to them, face to face not behind a screen! Xx

I'd say personally.. its the way forward, the only way to go.
If you where new and looking for a site to join? Well i know which one I would choose.

some would probably say I should put a potato sack on my head but it is a good idea .... if your genuine what would you object ...

Thank you. Yes there will be minor/major restrictions in place until/unless PV is done. We will allow a grace period for newbies to get a feel for the site and the trustworthiness of the site and you guys our members.
If after this grace period people do not PV then they will be shown the door; no qualms.

What is a photo verified member?
It's someone who has followed the steps outlined here; How do I become a photo verified member
Where you hold a sheet of paper, your name, the date, your face(s) site name - and your hands all for show in a selfie.

It's a very simple way of showing to others that the account is who they say they are. ie a couple, or single female/gent etc.

So with that, do you think the site should become fully photo verified only?
Would you be comfortable in doing so?
Are you already and do you think differently about accounts who are not?

As always - please keep it clean.
With the above thread in mind, I feel this is a very important question to ask.

I know we all had a good chin about this a while back but maybe we could have an thread that folks could post any bright ideas they have. Who knows someone might come up with something none of us have thought of. I am sure once it comes into play it wont be perfect and will need to be tweeked over a number of weeks after all its totally new ground for everyone. We personally cant wait to contact our friends and say how do you fancy a totally verified site and its free too. No brainer to us

Yes it will take some tweaking and playing around with first (ooer!) and I am expecting there will be issues/errors/problems coming with it. I'm fully anticipating that and also am expecting people to get funny about this, but the fact is that I agree with this;

And that's why this has to be done and go ahead.
We will be the first swinging site to do this and I can't wait to start with it.
We've been the first site to do things in a lot of ways.. innovative.
Online status marker? Our idea. My idea. Another site last year copied, didn't go down too well at the time.
We were the first site to have videos!
The first site to have Apps.. and so on.
But this will be a very important step in the right direction, ensuring safety for all by becoming a fully photo verified site.
