I wholehearted agree with photo verification, with new members settling in and say given a 48hour minimum to 72 maximum to do theirs so they can learn about the site and all the lovely members on here

We have voted yes to PV in the poll, excellent idea, 100% genuine profiles, as already been said a small delay for newbies is ok and if they don't comply in the time limit then the big red button or relock until done.

Of course, goes without saying - people will be given chance, it won't be a do or die thing. If this were implemented all newbies would be given chance and time to do so, before being banned.

Sure everyone on the site has been plagued by fakes in the past on other sites , on one of the "bigger ones we are on over 90% of the females who have contacted us have turned out to be fake profiles , and some very convincing, so big YES from us

Here's what I previously though but please bear with me. (no won't be long winded)
Not so long ago, I wanted to create a gallery category that was PV access only. Yes people could add face pics as you'd all be sharing and taking the same risks.
I also wanted to create an area on the site for PV only. Where discussions could take place, or advice etc. But if not PV you don't get access.
The opposition to this was, to which I agreed and why it never happened; it's excluding others and therefore too inclusive/exclusive.
So we had to find the balance and that is open the site to all (aside from public) but offer the opportunity to PV or not.
I am still very much pro for offering PV a separate gallery category and a certain area on the site.
But that's as far as I got with it.

Do you think we should become a photo verified members site only?

What is a photo verified member?
It's someone who has followed the steps outlined here; How do I become a photo verified member
Where you hold a sheet of paper, your name, the date, your face(s) site name - and your hands all for show in a selfie.

It's a very simple way of showing to others that the account is who they say they are. ie a couple, or single female/gent etc.

So with that, do you think the site should become fully photo verified only?
Would you be comfortable in doing so?
Are you already and do you think differently about accounts who are not?

As always - please keep it clean.
With the above thread in mind, I feel this is a very important question to ask.

If you wish to attend a club now days which now are all private members club as such mostly, you have to prove who you are PHOTO I.D proof of address. Which WE are ALL FOR No Ifs NO BUTTS! The local authority are a more limited to shall we say prive. The Alcohol licence if you wish to serve/sell is a different issue always has been and always will and the police can gain access without notice as such if they feel they have reasonable reason, but clubs do make money from the bar.
PV What the difference ? Its surely a level playing field as far as one can weather SS or a club surely ?
With the Bill going through Parliament and recent things happening around the world things are changing % and after 28 years in the know WILL change be harder again being made more difficult and being an old git trust me I put money on it.
You have to been seen to be ahead and lead the way before others, otherwise people vigilantes watch gather and attack example FET...
A lot of Fetish event organisiers find it very hard to find venues, as the clubs venue owners pubs etc say yes as they think and rub hands together but the fetish bdsm people in the past were/are not drinkers hence they loose there venue and move on to another.

We strongly do not like someone being able to join straight away look at our picture/s if they dont wish want to prove there I.D straight away? why should they perv any of our pics oh unless they wanna pay lol oh or PV lol xx

It will be harder to do 10 years down the road, than now. 100% I agree with you there.

What if all new folks to the site get 1 week to get PV as lets be honest it could be Sunday evening you sign up and don't get chance to come back here till the following weekend hence the week grace shall we say. During this time how about the new persons can use the site as normal but cant access any pictures with the exception of peoples profile avatar. this will allow them to see how nice it is here and also provide the carrot of not being able to see anything that folks here don't want them to see. After the first 7 days then bang your gone unless you PV with no further grace days. also make the none PV folks profiles stand out like a sore thumb more and more as the days pass by. My thinking being if you really are here looking for others why would you not want your mug shot in the open.

Yes indeed, there's a lot of ideas in there that I think are useful and can be used. If done correctly, there'd be no reason why anyone wouldn't want to do it.
It's also about making sure people feel safe enough and ensuring people (newbies) understand that this is NOT the same as other sites and they won't be faced with the same issues either..
But yes some good ideas there.

This site is far from that, it is so different. That's why I enjoy being on here. The other site that we joined is 100% cattle market.

I think, this is where the ethos of the site has been instilled since day 1, it's now far too easy to forget that the person you're speaking with or were, is human. The person you speak with forgets YOU are human.
We've kind of reversed that, okay slow.. but we are. Swinging as it is on other sites, is NOT what swinging is really about.
Really it's not.. I.T is to blame for a lot of it and so is the way society and sites have allowed it to become.
Smutty, trashy, where "wanna f*ck" messages are the norm..
We're trying to undo that and this is one reason why - yes we have lower numbers than some other sites, but we have more genuine people and the atmosphere is different.
After all, people adapt to their surroundings.. x

I still believe that unless you are PV then you shouldn't have full access to the site if any at all.there are going to be a few that for exceptional reasons cannot PV. This should then be at the discretion of @Admin to decide if they are worthy. To me it's quite clear, you're either in or out xx
