Photo Verification For All Onsite?

Shall the site consider enforcing PV (photo verification) to all members?

Yes this is one of the reasons why we are always cautious and usually how we sniff out fakes. (not giving anything else away) Face pics in the gallery, but won't PV?
Doesn't make sense. x

Yeah... it does.
I can put any pictures in my gallery but I can't photo verify one of those pictures............ if they're not me. Not unless I'm very talented with photoshop anyway...

Well exactly, that's the whole point. If people are comfy adding face pics to the gallery and resistant to doing a PV, then that's always a bad sign.

Was I not supposed to say that? Delete as required lol
not at all... The point is this. it doesn't make sense if members are happy to add face pics in the gallery but NOT photo verify, unless they have a specific reason not to, as you said; They can't do it or PS as they don't belong to them which for us, usually = fake.

@Admin I know there are a few members who are not PV but have been to socials and have verifications from multiple verified members, would you consider them for verified memberships and possibly change their status reflect this or would you still require the photo? Just a question like......

Unfortunately it would have to be based on several factors; have I met them myself? Do I know them or know of them etc?
Do I know any of the people who have met them?
So really it's not a hard and fast rule, especially for established members who may have been to socials and not PV. Especially if I/we know them or of them.
Sometimes after socials where we've been, you'll regularly see me posting - have PV'd your account as we met.
Know what I mean? So it's not set in stone, but it would be dependant on who, what where etc?

Which I think is fair.

Personally met by site staff or pv'd. Met by staff could pretty much be counted as pv really I think.

Ok so, i suppose most are wondering as am I?
Those members who fail to 'if it goes ahead' site wide,
provide facial verification.. what happens to them?

They will be banned or removed from the site.... IF it goes ahead.
Quite simply removed. Really risky move, but if that's what everyone wants then that's what the outcome will be for those who do not decide to do it.

I don't think it's risky to have a smaller site but a site that is 99.9% genuine. Short term the site will lose but long term it will gain. A lot I think.

Exactly. As we've said for quite some time now, I'd rather have 3k genuine members, than 300k with an unknown colossal amount of fakes, wasters and dreamers.

In the end when a site gets like that the genuine people begin to think 'what's the point?' And leave. Which leaves less genuine people so you end up with a site primarily made up of the people you didn't want on there in the first place... I think.

To be perfectly honest.. as far as im concerned its the way forward.
As far as I'm aware it will be the only swinging site.. to inisist all members are photo verified.. thus ensuring ALL members are genuine.. x
