You can as mentioned above use wink from their profile. It can only be used once until the person you winked at acknowledges/clears it. There is a reason for this but I can't recall what it is but I'm sure @Admin will clarify

Not sure if anything else needs addressing yet or explaining. I have 25 pages of alerts to go through. (675 alerts) so if there's anything else for the time being, tagging will be the best way to get my attention.
But winking does just that - let's the person(s) know you're interested without having to start PM's et al.
