I feel their pain, I ran a gaming server for a clan hosting NovaLogic's Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising FPS. Most of the clan are in the US and when we moved to Yorkshire from US I had to stop hosting as the lag was to great for them to play. I am sure it added $20 to $30 a month on our electric bill... but we had the hardare and the fast 150 MB internet connection so it was cheaper then contracting one for $75 a month from Nova. Sorry it is not more but we are limping along on ESA, PIP and Carers allowance until they find out what is wrong.
