I hear this all the time, I'm definitely more than a cock! The number of times I've messaged someone and they reply "Sorry, not into BBC". I get what they're saying, black guys aren't their preference. The problem is when "black guy" and "BBC" are used interchangeably. Firstly, I don;t count myself as "BBC" as I'm not built like one (shame to say but hey ho), and secondly, I;m more than just a cock: I thought its what's on the other end (the other 200 lbs of me) that mattered.

In fact, I'm considering the next itme someone replies to me "sorry, not into BBC" I might reply "that;s ok, I don't want a hole either"

I've found, just like clubs and venues, they all differ in various ways and hence hence strenghts and weaknesses in varying degrees. And as a result of these differences, my use of the many sites has been sporadic in the more recent years (for some, virtually non-existent).

Its always a shame when I finally have to turn my back on a site if Im made to feel unwelcome (usually a difference of opinion with a moderator who, forgetting that they are human, can make a mistake which, me not being the sort to hold my tongue and "shut up like a good little boy" they hope me to be, I end up calling them out on it. There are LOTS of example of this!).

But with that said, its usually the community and connections that keep me: once I feel that is gone, then nothing really remains for me, so, liek the vanilla world which has nothign to offer me sexually, I leave. I will however say, my first year on SS (no matter how quiet I've been especially the first 6 months) has been a laugh, and I';m looking forward to getting more involved and enjoying the ride ('scuse the pun!) and those willing to join me xx

This is why I was utterly appalled at the recent issues (which I won't discuss) you faced. I could not believe it.. I actually was quite hurt by it to the point where I personally became very, very angry.
My immediate thought though, which I even mentioned to you - why stay there and face that.
However, I also know that 10 years' worth of friends is a lot to walk away from.

If people are that fed up, that annoyed with the place, get bullied, face abuse or receive abusive messages... then why stay there?
I think it was @Carpediem2008 who wrote a thread about taking shit for not being a certain size manhood and Mrs CD getting some flak for some thing or the other (please do excuse me if I am wrong there, trying to remember who wrote it is challenging on a Sunday morning ) and we as a community, responded to the thread in the way we should do and the way it's meant to.
Positive, kind, assuring.. not beating someone up for the sake of it.
The horror stories are just too similar, time and time again. It irks and frustrates me when I see genuine, lovely, polite people go through the mill there... when all I want to do is help and help them get out of those situations.
I still cannot fathom why so many people, who get so much abuse, still stay there like almost being a glutton for punishment.
If you have friends there, then bring them with you.
Nobody deserves to be bashed as much as they do on there. Nobody.
In all the years we were on there and since leaving and making this, I have never seen a change in the ethos there. It will always remain what it is.

I hear what what your saying however we pesonally are not sick of the site as we dont use the chat feature we only go on see who has messaged us and come off again. If anyone tried to bully us well i am a big boy and i would deal with it. It would be lovely if everyone we know came here but for now they dont want to for various reasons. I do feel your right that this site will keep growing but dont think the other site will die for a long time as all the fakes will keep it alive. I've said the same recently to @Pearls that I feel the whole lifestyle is changing Mr B. All of it is.. it's different now to what it used to be. Really a huge difference too. I am not so sure how long it is actually going to last for tbh. It just all feels different now to what it did say 2-3 years ago.
