I agree but we do have to offer the tools. I’ve never used the block button but I will say if we get ignored then we simply don’t interact anymore with the person. No reason to really is there nor then having any intentions of meeting them in person.
We are planning a little shindig later in the year, it will be only people that are friends and people who interact with us that will be invited. If you can’t be courteous online then you won’t be face to face eh!

when I first joined the site I was very active and constantly posting/commenting, I was even the auctioneer at one stage :rofl:

Unfortunately I don’t get anywhere near as much free time now as I used to so generally pop on for the odd 5 minutes here and there. I try to comment and or like posts as much as I can :(

Can’t see my activity increasing any time soon unfortunately :palm:

We see people view pic of the day, so it’s ok to stare at the pics but not acknowledge them! It’s not easy to parade yourself half naked publicly for some and takes guts. There isn’t respect anymore from people.
This wasn’t the case and plenty of others will confirm that.
Sadly the site is started a new era of such behaviour and we won’t keep the site if that is what it’s come too.
We’ve fought too hard to create the opposite of this.
It will be the genuine members who lose if it goes sadly.

We have both been guilty of taking time away from the site, we had our first "bad" experience last year and yes @Pearls and @Lips_Pearls both counselled us through that tough time and for that we will be eternally grateful and then real life dealt us several blows back to back but now we have now turned a corner and are back on track with everything, we always try to engage with the site and the people on here, that being said the same as @The_Usual_Horny_Couple We pop on and have the fullest intention of getting back to "that" later but either forget or can't find the post again!!

We hope and pray that the site stays the course and we all find a way to adapt to the changes the lifestyle faces, alas we have to or it will be gone and that will be a travesty.

Keep up the great work Admin and Mods it's massively appreciated

Sadly no. It’s regular members as well as new ones. People may think here that the staff are on one or having a bad time but when we get to a point where this site will go due to to behaviour on line then we as staff have no problem in being honest. New era of swingers who don’t quite get it sadly.
I only have to look at profile posts to see some of the points made here.

I will reply briefly as I am sitting in my car near school waiting for my daughter to come out.

I love this site and the way that it’s run on a personal level.

There seems to be a core of people who join in and interact on here, just my observation as a fairly new member.
It has a community/family feel to it, which I adore and would be sad to lose.

It’s sad that there are people just looking and not joining in after joining a site with the word ‘social’ in the title.

You do a fantastic job and I for one have enjoyed reading and taking part in some threads. Even those that I have nothing to contribute to, I try to like and certainly enjoy reading.
I also appreciate the support that you have given to me as a newcomer.

Did I say brief???

Ok if I may throw my two pennorth in, i was musing the other day about my previous spell on here and the crazy characters we had and the fun we have had !! As you say so very social
The mood of the site has definitely changed maybe because people are actually having more liaisons and not looking to be sociable I don’t know!
All I do know is the amount of work you two and the admin staff do to keep this site safe for both sexes and all types of couples, not to mention the huge amount of money you have put in to make SS what it is !
It must truly sadden you to see how quiet it’s become !
I’ve met very few on here this time for many reasons geography and situation to name but two, but do I still enjoy the site damn right I do , I can often be found wandering the corridors of SS looking for a friendly chat, regardless of whether I’m planning to meet or not, chat is chat, I’ve struck up a few conversations where there has been a quite desultory responses but hey people don’t assume because I say hi I’m gonna rip your knickers off and steal the silver. Well not both anyway!
So please folks lighten up let’s have posts chats and fun, after all we are all here for the same thing !!!!

As newbies to the site we’ve had a lovely welcome from many and it does feel a warm and sociable place to be, especially as we are yet to pop our swinging cherry. We already feel we could ask anything if we needed to.

I think you’ve created a great site, we are certainly happy to be here and want to interact and get to know people. I will say though that it does seem to be the same (gorgeous) people who pop up each day and comment, like and get involved in the banter. That does seem a shame when there are a such a lot of members and you’re clearly working so hard.

Hoping that it goes the way we all want it to. x

Well what a post and some great responses.
We joined several years ago and were very active during the time before we took a break from the scene. I even turned up to an event with a sprained ankle. Since returning a few months ago, we haven’t been so active, mainly down to several real life changes and stresses. We have never posted for the sake of it, and post when we feel we have something to add to a discussion. I (Mr Brum) check in the most and most of the time it’s just to see what’s going on. Should we be more active? Yes. Do we want to be more active? Yes. What stops us then? Time firstly, secondly our lost connection with many old members and not find the connection with many new members for the reasons we posted in another thread regarding the scene. We even have discussed walking away for good as the scene just isn’t what it was. But we keep coming back.
It’s a testament to the site that we only came back to this site after our break.

We can find those connections again. It’s always evolving with new members and members that want to get involved. X
